The CVC Racquets & Social Club Social Committee brings our club to life — on the courts, around the patio, and throughout our beautiful grounds. With a vibrant mix of racquet play, fitness, and social gatherings, our events are designed to connect members and make the most of everything CVC has to offer.

May

Sun., May 3 - Point Play Social

Details: 9-10:30am. Point Play followed by light breakfast. Cost: $30 members, $40 guests.

Sun., May 10 - Mother’s Day Pickle, Punch and Pastries

Details: 9-11am during open play pickleball. Tennis players are encouraged to come over to the picnic area after play. (Free)

Sat., May 16 - Opening Picnic and Open House (Rain Date May 17th)

Details: 12-4pm. Sign up by Wed., 5/13. Tennis Olympics 1-2pm.

Fri., May 24 - Start of Friday night socials 

Details: Under the pavilion at 7:30pm.

Wed., May 27 - Ladies Sangria Social

Details: Tennis and Pickleball until 7:30pm. Members bring snacks to share. Members: $10, Guests: tbd.

June

Sun.,  June 7 - Championship Brunch (French Open) All Member Social
Details: Men’s Singles Finals air at 9am.

Sun., June 14 - CVC Open Pickleball Tournament
Detail: 9am

Mon.,  June 15 - Start of MahJong Mondays
Details: 1-3pm. New players can pair up with experienced players.

Thur., June 18 - Pilates and Pickleball
Details: 5:30pm. Free. Join us at CVC for a fun energizing evening combining Pilates & Pickleball. This unique session is designed to strengthen, stretch and prepare your body for the court. 45 minutes, with pickleball to follow. All levels welcome. Bring a mat and water. 

Sat., June 20 - Cornhole and Cards
Detail: 6:30pm. Free. BYOB and a snack to share. Guests welcome. 

Sun.,  June 21 - Father’s Day Dinks and Donuts

Details: 9-11am during open play pickleball. Tennis players are encouraged to come over to the picnic area after play. (Free)  

Wed., June 24 - Ladies Social: Margarita Night

Details: 6:30-9:30pm. $10. Enjoy pickleball or tennis, and then join in on the fun under the pavilion. If you have time to make/purchase snacks to share, thank you; if not, please just come. 

July

Sat., July 11 - Pickleball Member/Guest Tournament

Detail: 9am

Sun.,  July 12 - Wimbledon Championship Watch Party

Details: Gather under the pavilion at 11am to watch the Men’s Final. 

Mon., July 13 - Tennis Olympics with Bradley

Details: 7:15-8:15pm. Free to tennis members. 

Thurs., July 16 - Pilates and Pickleball

Details: Pilates 5:30-6:15pm, followed by pickleball.

Wed., July 22 - Women’s Doubles Social

Details: 6pm. Join us as we host the Country Club of Waterbury for Social Interclub. Social time to follow. 

Sat., July 25 - Trivia Night
Details: 6:30pm arrival with first game starting at 7pm. Led by Eric Carlson. Player fee: $5 to go toward prizes.

Wed., July 29 - Monthly Ladies Social or Interclub Social
