Dear Copper Valley Club Members,
2008 was another great year for the Copper Valley Club. We fielded one of the biggest swim teams in recent memory and both the swim and tennis teams had great success in inter-club play. We continued the Friday night barbecue by the pool which was well attended and lots of fun. This year, we plan on continuing the barbecue and keeping the pool open until 9:00 on summer Friday nights. We are also planning some exciting activities for teens this year.
Based on the strong growth in membership in 2008, we are in a great position to maintain and enhance our club. Also, because of that strong growth, we will NOT be raising the dues for the 2009 season. Membership dues for 2009 will be as follows:
Family Membership $1,320.00
Couple Membership $875.00
Single Membership $600.00
Senior Couple $540.00 (62 yrs of age as of January 1, 2008 with 3 consecutive years of active membership).
Senior Single $410.00 (62 yrs of age as of January 1, 2008 with 3 consecutive years of active membership).
We greatly appreciate payment in full by January 31, however, we recognize that some people would rather pay in installments. Accordingly, You may break up your payments into 4 installments payable (POSTMARKED) on or before January 31, February 28, March 31 and April 30 as shown on the enclosed voucher sheet. Each late installment will carry a $10.00 late fee. Please get your payments in on time. The late fee is to encourage on-time payment because so many of our expenses (such as taxes) are due early in the year. PLEASE NOTE THAT IF YOU ARE NOT PAID IN FULL BY APRIL 30, YOU MAY NOT APPEAR IN THE CLUB'S DIRECTORY. Those who pay in full by January 31 will receive credit for four visitor passes.
Once again, you will be able to pay on line with a credit card by visiting our website. *PLEASE NOTE THAT ON-LINE AND CREDIT CARD PAYMENTS WILL CARRY A 3% SURCHARGE TO COVER THE CHARGE THE CREDIT CARD COMPANY CHARGES US
Please review the enclosed payment vouchers. Mail completed forms and checks to the address shown below or go to our web site to renew your membership. Your first installment must be received by January 31, 2009 in order to hold your membership. Please feel free to contact me at any time if you have any questions regarding your membership.
